What to Expect at a Senior Pet Exam
We focus on proactive senior pet care to help detect and manage conditions that are often associated with aging before they impact your pet’s well-being. During a senior wellness visit, our veterinarians conduct a thorough, nose-to-tail examination, which includes:
- Body condition evaluation to assess weight and muscle health
- Oral exam to check for dental disease

- Skin, coat, eye, and ear checks to identify age-related changes
- Nutritional counseling tailored to their evolving needs
We also recommend annual diagnostic lab work to track internal health trends over time and detect early signs of illness.
