Lynnie Fuller DVM

Lynnie

Dr. Lynnie Fuller is Countryside’s experienced small animal practitioner, originally practicing both large and small animal medicine since 1999. When the clinic needed him to specialize, he chose small animals, drawn to the expanding treatment options and diverse surgical procedures.

A Georgia native, Dr. Fuller split his childhood between Georgia and the Florida coast. Before pursuing veterinary medicine, he worked in engineering and architectural supply. He earned his biology degree from Georgia Southwestern University and attended vet school at the University of Georgia.

His passion for animal care began after losing his childhood cat due to inadequate treatment—a defining moment that inspired his career. Today, he focuses on cardiology and orthopedics, believing these areas are vital to pets’ quality of life. He’s also highly experienced in small animal reproductive care, particularly bulldogs, recognizing the dedication required for their unique needs.

Dr. Fuller’s wife, Deborah, shares his love of health care, having spent 30 years in the Athens Regional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs. They have two sons and enjoy attending Le Mans and stock car races as a family, as well as the occasional fishing trip.
